The people responsible for this are domestic terrorists. If any other group of people tried to shut down the government, they would be in prison for treason. If this isn’t extortion at the very least, then I don’t know what is. And yes, it’s atrocious that out of all people, they are still getting paid. Our congress is blatantly corrupt. They are sell outs to the lobbyists funded by the largest corporations and there’s nothing we could do about it. We’ve never had companies this huge in history before. So it’s interesting to see what’s going to happen. Things will only get worse until we have major campaign-finance reform that actually gets corporate-money out of politics. How large must the gap between the upper and lower class become before the whole thing comes crashing down?
