Surface Wetting Agent (Stool softener)

Stool softeners promote the mixing of the stool fat with water so it won’t be hard. This will not work acutely. It will take 1-3 days before it works. It’s purpose is to prevent constipation but primarily to prevent straining. And again, this is habit forming.
