Today was Sunday October 30, 2011, the day after Adult Halloween.
At 5:28pm I was able to take a successful panorama with my phone even though it was against the sun because the clouds were blocking it and the exposure was just right. What you’re seeing is actually a massive amount of sky in real life and it’s actually made from five vertical photos.
Here’s the same view at 6:03, the last moment just before the sun set into the ocean. Note the same clouds are much more widely dispersed and the moon is now visible on the top-right corner.
Just a few minutes later, the sky transforms through a much more vibrant color palette thanks to magic hour!
