When I surpassed 70,000 YouTube subscribers, I made an announcement that I was also going to create a video series on cryptocurrencies. Well… here is the first episode! This is a presentation that explains what Bitcoin is in detail. A lot of people think Bitcoin is simply monopoly money or fake money. I’m here to clarify why that can’t be further from the truth because everyone is buying it just to get rich without knowing what it is that they’re buying. If they don’t have any conviction as to what it is they’re buying, they’re going to panic sell when the bubble inevitable bursts.
By the end of the video, hopefully you’ll now see why Bitcoin is stirring up a storm. Whether you’re into mining, programming, economics, trading, politics, ideological or philosophical beliefs about government or the social implications, it has something that captivates almost everyone.
It can also be a trap for people that think they know what they’re doing but aren’t… they can get emotionally vested into the drama and if they take up day-trading, can spur gambling addictions and peoples want to make money. Looking at charts can make you manic and the fast moving pace of crypto mates too well to the short attention span of people. What happens in the stock market in a week happens in a single hour and the volatility can make people sick.
