I saw this episode a few days ago called “Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind”
The episode was very well done and it blew me away so I wanted to share and found these awesome facts:
- In its original American broadcast, “Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind” was viewed by an estimated 10.15 million households, won in its time slot, and received a 12% audience share!
- This episode won the 2008 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program (Less than an hour long).
- Well known to be the best episode of the 19th season. (Dec 2007)
Here’s a clip from the show… 39 years of Homer Simpson‘s life flash before him with the same musical score playing in the background. The clip ends with a still of YouTube’s standard ending screen, the screen that allows a user to choose another video. It’s a spoof of Noah Kalina’s viral video where he “Takes a Photo of Himself Every Day for 6 Years“, which features the similar piano musical score in the background as well.
