Everyone says love hurts…

Every­one says love hurts, but that’s not true.

Lone­li­ness hurts. Rejec­tion hurts.
Los­ing some­one hurts. Envy hurts.
Every­one gets these things con­fused with love.
But in real­ity, love is the only thing in this world that
cov­ers up all pain and makes some­one feel won­der­ful again.

Love isn’t hard.

Telling some­one how you feel is hard.
Being with the wrong per­son is hard.
Hum­bling your­self is hard.
Under­stand­ing is hard.
Apol­o­giz­ing is hard.
Fight­ing is hard.
Trust is hard.

But love?

Love is easy.
