Does anybody else feel like if they wash their car…

When you wash your car inside and out and go for a drive, doesn’t it feel like the car is run­ning better?

Not that there’s any­thing wrong with my car to begin with, but even if I clean the win­dows and vac­uum the floor mats at a gas sta­tion, the car feels like it’s more mechan­i­cally sound.  Or maybe I just feel bet­ter about my car?

So when my car is cos­met­i­cally clean, my brain thinks the car is mechan­i­cally run­ning even bet­ter, too.  I know log­i­cally they have noth­ing to do with each other but that’s just what I’ve noticed.   Any­body else feel this way?
