The 3D Lion King

Who Are You?

SOME OF YOU know me very well.  Some of you have never heard of me before.  My name is Antranik and I am also called Anto for short.  My main drive for creating and maintaining this blog is for expressing myself.  I love sharing information that is insightful and/or entertaining, whether it comes from my personal thoughts or on the internet.

Interestingly enough, most of the people that I have created a connection with in the past few years are people that I’ve met haphazardly through online forums.  We were adventurous forum members (read: awesome nerds!) that used to organize “meet-ups” at parties or even host entire parties just for us!  As I started to know everybody better online and offline, I assimilated these online friends to be my friends just like any other.  I had no idea what I was getting myself into but one thing is for sure:  This has resulted in me suddenly having a much larger network of friends than would otherwise have been possible.  The power of the internet, is a bit ridiculous to say the least.  My friend Adrian Coroian told me, “The human mind can’t grasp the size of the internet.” And that’s so unbelievably true.

I don’t post nowadays in those same forums.  I don’t really have the interest.  I spend my time with different things.  The passing of time has confirmed yet again that the only thing constant… is change.  It seems I was just another part of a generation of friends that have disbanded.  Just another cycle in the wave.  The good news is that I’m still friends with everybody!  The bad news is that I really missed making detailed replies or starting threads on forums to express myself.

I enjoy writing my thoughts out and sharing anything that I feel is worth sharing if it helps people out in some way through education or entertainment.

That is why Facebook, which I use all the time, just like you, isn’t cutting it.  It’s great for social networking and has tremendous reach but with the way it’s structured, it doesn’t promote any depth.   like the really, really dumbed-down version of a message board, on par with inane YouTube commentary.  The last thing I want to do is contribute to the dumbing-down of our society.  I want to help lift us out of this rat race, to raise our consciousness beyond our problems and bring awareness to the better and brighter things.

So after much hesitation, I decided to start my own site.  This was going to be my outlet for what I had to say.  At first I was wondering if using my first name would be in vain, but I feel blessed to have a first name that is so weird that I could buy the .org of it (hey, maybe one day I can get the .com domain too!).

I’m going to do the best I can.  This is all new to me so there’s a lot to learn.  I don’t even know what I’m going to post next.  All I know is that I should just be myself.

So here it is! Yay! Thank you for making it near the end by the way!  I really appreciate your attention!  Pssst.. there’s secret pages scattered around this blog.  There’s one even on THIS page!

If you really like something, there’s a myriad of ways you could show your support.

You may… click “Like”,  leave (absurd) comments at the end of the post, subscribe to my newsletter, become a Facebook Fan… and so forth! The greatest compliment one can give is when they share an article with their friends.  :-)

All the Best,

Antranik
