Midnight Drag Race in Los Angeles (2^nd street tunnel bicycle drag race in Los Angeles)

Mid­night Ridazz is hold­ing a “Mid­night Drag Race” on July 28, 2012.

The 2^nd St. tun­nel  in down­town will be closed down to the pub­lic at night for this race.  You know which tun­nel this is if you’ve ever been in it.  It’s really long and enchant­ing.  It’s lined with white glossy tiles every­where that makes it seem like you’re in one big light box.  You could par­tic­i­pate in this event for $10.

You’ll have a timer on you and if you are in the top 16 of the qual­i­fy­ing races, you will go head to head until you’re elim­i­nated or you win.  1^st and 2^nd places get STUFF.

I believe this will be for single-speed bikes only (fixed or sin­gle speed), with Men and Women divi­sions.  There may be a freak-bike sec­tion and uni­cy­cle sec­tion as well.

Should be a fun night.  I want to try it!
